My sister-in-law wanted a red tea kettle for Christmas, so I picked this one. She loves it. It has a non-moving handle which is much safer if you ask me. She said the same thing. Nice size and color.

Not a great kettle - BeestungGirl -
First of all the color isn't the red I was expecting. It has a gold sparkle to it that makes for an over effect of orange more than red. The lever to open the kettle is awkward and the spout doesn't say open. I sent it back.
